{Mother} definition. Part of my paper cut series dedicated to the love of written word and language. This is my first vintage dictionary cutout.

{Au Cœur du Livre} by PaperCutWorks

{Inside The Heart of A Book}. Introducing a new paper cut series dedicated to love of written word and foreign language. 

This one-of-a-kind paper cut design was made using a page of an old French book and mounted to a wooden display block. Unlike my solid paper pieces it's a freehand cut out , and it features an interpretation of a heart's anatomy carefully extracted from an original book page with an x-acto knife.

 

As is the case with all  heart cuts outs by PaperCutWorks, this piece is one-of-a-kind.
